1. What is the maximum amount of time your character can sit still with nothing to do?

I give him three days, tops, and that’s generous. He’s a very action-oriented person, always needs to busy himself somehow. Poor Nathan would have a very anxious Stan bugging him for something to do, he’s fallen down too many YouTube rabbit holes and is going a little nuts.

Poor Stan has been cooped up for too long. Long enough to apparently pick up the ukulele.

Lots of love and thanks to @ghostquack for bringing this to life! Inspiration for this lil bit of silliness comes originally from this vine and a conversation with @neonthewrite.

Announcement

neonthewrite:

I’ve been so excited to come this far that now that I’m here, I hardly know what to say. Years and years of planning and writing and editing (and repeating those steps until I wanted to pass out) have finally come to fruition.

I’m so proud and pleased to announce that Bowman of Wellwood is now a published book!

From simple origins as a side project and something to muse about in between classwork and my other stories, Bowman and his friends have grown and developed more than I ever could have imagined. He used to be a nameless little muse, the figure I would imagine flying among the trees whenever I went on a road trip as a kid. Now, Bowman is all grown up, along with Jacob and Rischa and the rest.

I have to give credit where it’s due. I couldn’t have made it to this point without encouragement from my friends and the people I’ve written together with over the years. Thank you all so much for what you’ve done for me, @creatorofuniverses @nightmares06 @borrowedtimeandspace @bittykimmy @little-miss-maggie

Currently, the book is only available on the Lulu shop. However, I am in the process of preparing it for distribution on other sites such as Amazon and Barnes&Noble; more announcements will come when that process is complete. The next step will be to create an eBook format for those who don’t want to have a physical copy with that gorgeous cover (the artwork for which was created by Anthony Avon ).

HAPPY PRIDE MONTH!!!!!!! 😉 How did Stan Baker and Nathan Sullivan first meet each other? They seem like a really sweet couple.

Thank you for asking! They are indeed a cute pair.

The first time they met, Stan saved Nathan’s life. Nate’s workplace was in danger, and Stan was one of several agents assigned to counter the attack. Sort of an unforgettable encounter, for the both of them.

A while later, Nathan happened to spot Stan at a local coffee shop on a day off, and decided he wouldn’t let him slip away before he could say thanks this time.

I know he’s done this to Rose and Donna ( with no success ), but has The Doctor ever tried lock Zepheera on the TARDIS to keep her out of a dangerous situation?

I wouldn’t rule it out, knowing the Doctor, but Zepheera tends to stick close to him most of the time. If he was determined, he might have to be a little more forceful than usual to get her to stay in the TARDIS without him. Those two can be quite stubborn with one another.

Edit: Given that she’s four and a half inches tall, the Doctor can be quite protective of Zepheera. It depends on the situation whether or not that protectiveness manifests as him keeping her close or keeping her shut away, safe in the TARDIS.

So if The Doctor has pockets that are bigger on the inside, has Zepheera ever gotten lost in them? If she has, did she find anything cool inside?

She’d have a rough time navigating them, that’s for sure!

Personally, I don’t think the Doctor’s pockets are massively expansive on the inside, just big enough that he can fit way more than he’d normally be able to and not be bogged down. Still, that’s a lot of space for someone who’s only four and a half inches tall.

Zepheera would definitely be miffed to be pocketed, not to mention the significantly bigger drop than she expected. She’d rifle around trying to find a way to get back to the top, and probably find some cool stuff along the way.

She will demand they figure out a way for her to be able to hide in the pocket without having to fall all the way in and not be able to find her own way out.

Zepheera for 32, 37 and 12; Stan Baker for 5, 28 and 38

From this list of not-so-nice OC Questions. Still taking these if you’re curious about my OC’s deep dark secrets

Zepheera [x] [x]

12. Have they ever done something illegal? What was it?

Seeing as she’s a borrower, human rules and laws don’t really apply to her. If they did, she’d be six feet deep in minor counts of theft.

32. Do they have a bad relationship with their parents?

Yes. She and her mother had a terrible relationship.

37. Have they ever had their freedom taken away?

She’s been trapped at least a couple of times in her life, and in one AU she was caged and experimented on. No fun.

Stan Baker [x]

5. List 3 fears; one “surface level” fear, one “repressed” fear, and one “deep dark” fear.

Here we go.

Surface level: Not in a jump-on-a-chair-in-fright way, but he doesn’t much care for spiders. Too many legs and eyeballs.

Repressed: he fears bringing danger to his loved ones. Nate teases him about being paranoid, but it’s derived from the real risks that come with Stan’s job. He tries to keep it under control, but he takes any precaution he sees necessary to protect Nathan, even wearing his engagement ring on a chain so bad guys don’t notice it and realize he has a loved one to exploit.

Deep dark: In a similar vein, Stan is terrified of letting people down and failing to protect them. For the most part, his confidence in his abilities keeps him from worrying about this too often, but he would fall into a dark place if this fear was ever realized.

28. Is there a certain type of person that disgusts them?

People who show complete disregard for other people’s lives disgust him.

38. Have they ever been imprisoned?

Human Stan has never been to prison or imprisoned. The same cannot be said about borrower Stan.
